Built in 1963, Lake Maitland Terrace is a community of 181 one, two, and deluxe two bedroom condos in eleven two story "cottages". The charming Mid-Century Miami Modern (MiMo) architecture and expansive lakefront campus make Lake Maitland Terrace an ideal home or "home away from home" for our residents.
Resort-style amenities include a beautiful pool overlooking Lake Maitland, a clubhouse with a fully stocked kitchen, and a large dock on the lake for fishing or just relaxing. The putting green and shuffle board courts will take you back to the days before cell phones and video games! Association Management
"Lake Maitland Terrace Apartments, Inc.(A Condominium)" is the official name of the condominium association serving the many resident owners and tenants of our complex. The property is managed by FirstService Residential with an onsite Licensed Community Association Manager. Although the community was originally named Lake Maitland Terrace Apartments, Inc., it is a condominium complex. Only a certain number of units are allowed to be leased, and there is currently a waiting list.

Measuring approximately 451 acres, Lake Maitland is widely recognized as one of the areas best boating, fishing and ski lakes. Lake Maitland is also part of the Maitland Chain of Lakes where it is connected by navigable canals to Maitland Lakes Minnehaha and Nina. Additional access to the Winter Park Chain of Lakes provides boating channels to Lakes Mizell, Osceola and Virginia. Due to the popular demand for recreational boating, our owner docks and moorings of 30 boat slips now has a waiting list.
